How to consume Benadryl?

All liquid forms of medicine need to be measured using a special dose-measuring spoon or cup. These measuring spoons and cups are easily available at any pharmacy.
What is the ideal dosage for Benadryl?
Do not consume more than the dosage prescribed for you. You should never consume more than 300 mg of diphenhydramine in a day, else it will trigger severe side effects. In case you have skipped a dose, never try to compensate by consuming double. Resume your next dose as scheduled.
Under normal circumstances, Children above 12 years of age, can consume between 25 mg to 50 mg in a day. However, for children below the between 6 to 12 years, only 1 capsule, of 12.5 to 25 mg is sufficient. Children below the age of 6 should consume this medicine only if prescribed by the doctor. And they should follow the dosage instructions carefully.
Benadryl should be kept at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F in an air tight container. However, for short duration, you can also store it 59 to 86 degrees F. Keep it away from the reach of children and pets. And ensure that the place is not moist and bright.
