Bactrim includes sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim. It is used to cure pneumonia and other respiratory disorders, Bacillus, typhoid fever and a host of other ailments.
Dosage and Directions
Depending on the severity of the infection, Bactrim should be consumed twice or thrice a day, with a glass of water. The dosage will differ for people suffering from acute kidney disorders. Follow the instructions of your doctor to know about the accurate dosage and the frequency of medication.

Consuming Bactrim may trigger side effects in the form of skin infections like hives, inflammation, fever, headache, erratic heartbeats, nausea, stomach ache, reduced frequency of urination, or bleeding. In case any of these symptoms or any other unusual symptoms manifest itself then you need to discontinue the medication immediately and seek medical assistance without delay.
Bactrim can be consumed along with dofetilide or methenamine. Note that Bactrim modifies the impact of some anti-diabetic as well as potassium level increasing medications. Bactrim should be stored at room temperature between 59 and 77 degrees F far from the reach of children and pets. It should be stored away from light and humidity.
